Pre-Match Report: Washington Spirit vs NC Courage

WASHINGTON  — Coming off a slim loss against San Diego Wave, the Washington Spirit look to return to good form. The loss knocked them down from #1 in NWSL rankings, allowing Gotham to overtake the top spot.  They face off against the North Carolina Courage tonight, almost a month since their last matchup in July where the Spirit beat Courage 2-0 with goals from Leicy Santos and Trinity Rodman in North Carolina territory.
