Pre-Match Report: DC United vs Toronto FC

WASHINGTON  — After a stunning effort from United Wednesday night, tying the match against a strong Houston squad, they had little time to recover before facing Toronto FC tonight. Both teams having tied their last few games aim to maintain good form as they dive into the second half of the season.

With a back and forth history, tonight’s game may be particularly close, Toronto having won 2-0 most recently back in the 2025 season following an initial tie.  Per usual, it should be a competitive match with home field and fan momentum behind DC United.
