Pre-Match Report: DC United vs Houston Dynamo FC

HOUSTON  — DC United returns from the World Cup Break to face Houston Dynamo in Texas. United is looking to come back strong with their well-maintained team mentality. Over the course of the season, United has been defensively strong with team-wide effort present behind the ball. Both squads ended with ties before the break, United having had a thrilling back and forth with  Montreal, losing the lead in the waning minutes of the second half. And as the team emphasizes performance over the result, United has built on and improved off every game.

Four of the yellows and both reds came from DC. United knows their fair share of physical matches, and tonight could be no different.
