Loop’s 56-yard field goal lifts Ravens past Cowboys, 34–31

Tyler Loop made a 56-yard field goal as time expired to give Baltimore a 34–31 win over Dallas on Sunday, September 27, at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
“I had no doubt in my mind,” Lamar Jackson said of Loop in the Ravens’ postgame press conference.
Loop spoke about the support he had received from his teammates through adversity and the perspective he had gained along the way. “Football is a gift. It’s meant to be enjoyed,” he said after the win.
Lamar Jackson found Matt Hibner for a two-yard touchdown with fewer than two minutes remaining to put Baltimore ahead. Dallas answered by reaching the Ravens’ two-yard line after a pass-interference penalty, but Baltimore held the Cowboys to a Brandon Aubrey field goal that tied the score at 31.
With seven seconds remaining, Jackson connected with Zay Flowers for 27 yards. Baltimore called timeout with one second left, and Loop delivered the winning kick.
Special teams also helped Baltimore earlier: Keondre Jackson blocked Aubrey’s 59-yard attempt with the Ravens leading 17–13 in the third quarter. Baltimore followed with a touchdown drive capped by Jackson’s four-yard pass to Chris Moore.
Derrick Henry ran for 89 yards, Jackson added 50 and Justice Hill had 33. Flowers caught five passes for 84 yards. Baltimore improved to 2–1 and next hosts Tennessee on October 4 at 1 p.m. Eastern.
