VCU falls to Davidson in four sets at the Siegel Center

The VCU Rams lost to the Davidson Wildcats 3-1 on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026, at the Siegel Center in Richmond, Virginia. Davidson took the match 25-20, 25-19, 23-25, 25-19.

How the sets went

Davidson won the first two sets, 25-20 and 25-19, to take a 2-0 lead.

VCU answered in the third set and won it 25-23 to stay alive in the match. The Wildcats closed it out in the fourth set, 25-19.

Records

The loss leaves VCU at 9-10 overall and 4-2 at home. Davidson improved to 10-12 overall and 6-5 on the road.
