Ravens release Chris Moore and practice-squad receiver Xavier Guillory

Baltimore released veteran receiver Chris Moore and removed receiver Xavier Guillory from its practice squad Tuesday, according to the Ravens’ transaction log. The moves change the receiver group ahead of Sunday’s visit to Cleveland.

Moore had three receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown in four appearances this season and contributed on special teams. Baltimore added him to the active roster September 16 after an earlier practice-squad elevation.

The club’s Tuesday report also says rookie Ja’Kobi Lane is eligible to return from injured reserve after missing four games. That eligibility does not establish an activation or clearance for Sunday. Neither a Lane return nor a new practice-squad deal for Moore is recorded as completed in the Tuesday transaction entry.

The Browns game begins at 1 p.m. Eastern October 18 at Huntington Bank Field. Baltimore then hosts Cincinnati on October 25, putting two divisional opponents next on its schedule.
