Pre-Match Report: D.C. United vs. Chicago Fire

WASHINGTON  — D.C. United and Chicago Fire meet for the second time tonight at Audi Stadium. D.C. United, having won the last matchup in March (2-1), has remained diligent in keeping a resilient mindset this season. They walk into tonight's match with confidence after a draw on Saturday against Nashville and have remained undefeated for the last 6 matches.

As United looks to continue that streak, Chicago is looking to return to winning form having lost their own six game unbeaten streak after losing their Open Cup match against St. Louis City SC. Coming into the fixture, Chicago is fresh off a second straight loss, falling to Red Bull New York this past Saturday. United is expected to carry not only a disciplined approach but their hard-fought mentality to the pitch for what will be a competitive match.

Kickoff is at 7:30pm tonight at Audi Stadium and will be available to watch on Apple TV.
