Keith Jenkins Jr. scored from one yard out with 24 seconds left, and Gavin Fetty’s extra point gave Morgan State a 28–27 homecoming win over Robert Morris Saturday. The Bears improved to 5–1 after overcoming a 14–0 deficit and another late touchdown by the Colonials.

The winning possession covered 75 yards in 11 plays over 3:52. Morgan had fallen behind 27–21 on Carson Haggard’s nine-yard touchdown pass to Eyasu Palmore with 4:16 remaining; Robert Morris missed the extra point.

Morgan’s earlier recovery came through two explosive third-quarter scores. Cameron Edge found Joseph Towler for a 56-yard touchdown, and Jenkins later ran 45 yards for another. A successful two-point conversion after Jenkins’s run tied the game at 21–21 with 2:21 left in the third.

Fetty had kept the Bears within reach with a 30-yard field goal as the first half expired and a second field goal in the third. Morgan trailed 14–3 at halftime before producing 18 third-quarter points.

Jenkins finished with 98 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Edge completed 18 of 29 passes for 181 yards and a touchdown, adding 61 rushing yards. Morgan rushed for 188 yards at seven yards per attempt while holding Robert Morris to 61 yards on 31 carries.

The Colonials still led total offense 437–369, with Haggard throwing for 376 yards and three touchdowns. Morgan converted all three fourth-down attempts and scored on all three red-zone opportunities. Its final drive ended with Jenkins’s second touchdown and the extra point that completed the comeback.
