Maryland seeks another Big Ten win in home finale against Iowa

Maryland hosts Iowa on Friday, October 16, in its final home women’s soccer match of the season. Kickoff at Ludwig Field is scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern, with B1G+ carrying the game.

The Terps enter 4–8–2 overall and 1–6–1 in Big Ten play after beating Northwestern 2–1 on Sunday. That result supplied their first conference victory and leaves Friday as an opportunity to build on it before the remaining road fixtures.

Maryland’s next scheduled match is at Michigan on October 22. Friday therefore closes the home portion of the schedule rather than the season itself. The immediate test is whether the Terps can turn Sunday’s result into consecutive league wins against a new opponent.
