Lamar Jackson out against Falcons; Tyler Huntley will start

Lamar Jackson will not play against Atlanta on Sunday night because of an ankle injury. Ravens coach Jesse Minter confirmed Friday that Tyler Huntley will start at quarterback when Baltimore visits the Falcons on October 11. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. Eastern on NBC.

Jackson injured his ankle during the second half of last Sunday’s win over Tennessee and did not practice this week. Huntley takes over for a Baltimore team that enters the matchup at 3–1, while Atlanta is 2–2.

The Ravens will also be without Trey Hendrickson, who is out with a finger injury. Zay Flowers is questionable with a foot injury, and Marlon Humphrey is questionable with hamstring and calf injuries. Andrew Vorhees is questionable with a foot injury.

New center Cam Jurgens will not make his debut Sunday. The Ravens reported that his first appearance is expected next week as he remains in concussion protocol.

Atlanta lists Jake Matthews, Divine Deablo, Samson Ebukam and Za’Darius Smith as questionable. Yasir Abdullah is out with a hamstring injury. Baltimore’s quarterback decision is settled: Huntley will start, with Jackson ruled out.
