Huntley rallies Ravens past Falcons, 30–23 in overtime

Tyler Huntley throws two touchdown passes and runs for the overtime winner as Baltimore improves to 4–1 without Lamar Jackson.
ATLANTA — Tyler Huntley gave the Ravens the touchdown they needed to stay alive, then scored the one that put them ahead for good.
Starting for the injured Lamar Jackson, Huntley led Baltimore to a 30–23 overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. His 1-yard touchdown run finished a 14-play, 68-yard possession that consumed the first 7:03 of overtime. Kyle Hamilton then intercepted Atlanta backup Tua Tagovailoa to close out the victory.
The Ravens improved to 4–1. Atlanta fell to 2–3 after letting an eight-point fourth-quarter lead slip away. Starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr. suffered a rib injury late in regulation and did not return.
One drive to survive, another to win
Baltimore trailed 23–15 after Nick Folk’s 48-yard field goal in the fourth quarter. Huntley answered with a six-play, 71-yard touchdown drive that took 1:51, finding Devontez Walker for a 7-yard score. Derrick Henry supplied the essential finish, running in the two-point conversion to tie the game.
That sequence reversed Baltimore’s earlier frustration on a conversion attempt. After Henry caught an 18-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter, the Ravens’ unsuccessful two-point try had left them behind, 17–15.
In overtime, Baltimore kept Atlanta’s offense watching from the sideline for more than seven minutes before Huntley scored. Tyler Loop’s extra point made it 30–23, setting up the defense’s final stop. The official scoring summary records three consecutive Baltimore touchdowns across the second half and overtime after the Ravens managed only field goals before halftime.
Huntley and the running game deliver
Huntley completed 24 of 32 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. He added 20 rushing yards and the winning score.
Henry finished with 102 yards on 24 carries, plus the touchdown reception and tying conversion. Justice Hill contributed 73 rushing yards on just four attempts, including a 47-yard gain. Baltimore’s four ball carriers combined for 208 rushing yards.
Rashod Bateman led the Ravens with 62 receiving yards on five catches. Zay Flowers caught eight passes for 53 yards after entering the weekend questionable with a foot injury. Baltimore finished with a 391–367 advantage in total offense, according to the official box score.
Early trouble, late recovery
Jessie Bates III gave Atlanta an early lift with a 36-yard fumble return for a touchdown. Penix later connected with Kyle Pitts for a 5-yard score, helping the Falcons take a 14–9 halftime lead. Loop kept Baltimore close with three first-half field goals, including two from 51 yards.
Penix finished with 240 passing yards and a touchdown. Drake London had seven catches for 118 yards, but Atlanta’s productive stretches could not protect its late lead.
Jackson’s ankle injury had forced Baltimore to turn to Huntley. The Ravens also played without Trey Hendrickson (finger), Cam Jurgens (concussion) and Andrew Vorhees (foot). Their game-day availability report cleared Flowers and Marlon Humphrey to play.
For a depleted Baltimore team, the decisive work came at the end: a tying touchdown, a successful conversion, a sustained overtime march and an interception that finally ended the night.
