UConn women's volleyball beats Georgetown 3-2 in five sets

UConn beat Georgetown 3-2 in women's volleyball on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, at the UConn Volleyball Center in Storrs, Connecticut. The Huskies took the deciding fifth set 15-13.

How the match went

The Hoyas won the first set 25-23, and the Huskies answered with a 25-20 win in the second. Georgetown took the third 25-23 to go up 2-1.

UConn forced a fifth set by winning the fourth 26-24, then finished the match with the 15-13 win in the fifth.

Records

Georgetown is listed at 12-11 on the season, and UConn at 10-15.
