Revolutionaries fall to Fordham in five sets at Smith Center

The George Washington Revolutionaries lost 3-2 to the Fordham Rams on Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, at the Charles E. Smith Center in Washington. The match started at 6:00 p.m. ET.

GW is now 9-13 overall. Fordham improved to 10-13.

How the sets went

Fordham took the opening set 25-22. The Revolutionaries answered by winning the second set 30-28, in a long set that went past 25 points.

Fordham won the third set 25-22 to go back in front. GW forced a deciding fifth set by taking the fourth, 25-15.

In the fifth set, Fordham won 15-12 to close out the match.
