Commanders put Payne, Kinlaw, McNichols on IR, claim RB Robert Henry Jr. off waivers

The Washington Commanders made a series of roster moves Tuesday, placing three players on injured reserve and adding a running back off waivers.

Defensive linemen Daron Payne and Javon Kinlaw and running back Jeremy McNichols are being placed on injured reserve, Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday afternoon.

Washington also claimed running back Robert Henry Jr. off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks, Ben Standig reported.

The moves come two days after the Commanders beat the Philadelphia Eagles 27-10 at Northwest Stadium. Washington fell behind 10-0 in the first half before quarterback Jayden Daniels led a rally, throwing for 217 yards and a touchdown, according to ESPN's John Keim.

The win moved the Commanders to 2-4-1, second in the NFC East.

Washington is back at home Sunday, Nov. 8, against the Los Angeles Rams. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET.
