Towson seeks first victory on Saturday trip to Delaware State

Towson travels to Dover to play Delaware State on Saturday, September 26, at 6 p.m. Eastern. The Tigers’ official schedule lists viewing coverage through the MEAC Sports Network.

The Tigers enter 0–4 following a 41–26 home loss to Morgan State. Their first three defeats were against Maine, Navy and South Carolina, so this trip is another chance to secure a first win before returning to CAA competition at Monmouth on October 3.

Towson’s 26 points against Morgan State were its highest total of the season. Carrying that scoring improvement onto the road is one focus; reducing the points allowed is the other after opponents scored at least 41 in each of the last three games.

This is the programs’ first meeting since 2014, according to Towson’s season-opening notes. The long gap makes recent results a more relevant guide than an old head-to-head matchup.
