Spirit visits Houston looking to rebound from Angel City loss

Washington visits the Houston Dash at Shell Energy Stadium on Sunday, October 4, at 7 p.m. Eastern.

The Spirit lost 1–0 to Angel City on September 26 after beating Chicago 3–0 the previous weekend. Those contrasting results put Washington’s attacking response in focus for the Houston trip.

Washington won the earlier meeting with the Dash 2–1 at home on July 3. Sunday is the return fixture, followed by the Spirit’s next scheduled home match against Gotham FC on October 17.
