Old Dominion takes 8–1 start to Georgia Southern

Old Dominion visits Georgia Southern in Statesboro on Sunday, September 27, at 7 p.m. Eastern on ESPN+. The Monarchs are 8–1 overall and seek their first Sun Belt victory after losing their conference opener.

ODU responded to its 2–1 loss against South Carolina on September 18 by beating William & Mary 2–1 on September 22. Sunday offers a chance to carry that response into league play.

The Monarchs have won both of their away matches. Maintaining that road record would help them avoid a second conference defeat before another away assignment at Kentucky on October 2.
