Nationals return home for three-game Mets series

The Nationals host the Mets for three games at Nationals Park from Friday, September 25, through Sunday, September 27. MLB’s schedule lists first pitches at 6:45 p.m. Friday, 4:05 p.m. Saturday and 3:05 p.m. Sunday, all Eastern.

Washington’s September 22 win in Detroit featured two CJ Abrams home runs and all three Nationals runs driven in by the shortstop in a 3–1 result. Washington followed with a 4–2 win over Detroit on September 23, improving to 75–84 before the Mets series.

For the home series, offensive support beyond Abrams and the pitching staff’s ability to limit scoring chances are useful points to watch. This early preview does not assign unconfirmed starting pitchers.

Fans should check MLB’s schedule for any subsequent time changes.
