Quince Orchard–Seneca Valley starts a two-night Montgomery County football slate
Montgomery County’s varsity football weekend begins Thursday, September 24, with five games confirmed on school athletic calendars, followed by nine Friday assignments involving county teams. Quince Orchard at Seneca Valley opens the Thursday group at 6:30 p.m. Eastern; the other four kickoffs are at 7 p.m.
The Thursday schedule spreads across Germantown, Rockville, Kensington and Bethesda. Fans should use the varsity football listings when planning their evening: several schools also have junior varsity football or girls’ flag football on the same day.
Friday offers both county matchups and games against teams from outside Montgomery County. Damascus hosts Oakdale, Poolesville welcomes Centennial and Northwood travels to Pikesville. The last of those is an away game despite Northwood’s temporary home-site designation appearing on some schedule lists.
All times below are Eastern, and the host school is the venue identified by the official calendar.
