Maryland follows Wisconsin shutout with UCLA visit

Maryland hosts UCLA in men’s soccer on Friday, September 25, at 7 p.m. Eastern at Ludwig Field in College Park. The Big Ten match is listed for B1G+.

The Terrapins beat Wisconsin 1–0 on September 18, responding to a 4–0 loss at Northwestern the week before. UCLA’s last match was a 1–1 draw with Michigan, also on September 18.

For Maryland, the immediate question is whether the defense can follow the Wisconsin clean sheet with another controlled performance. The difference between the Northwestern and Wisconsin results also makes the first sustained spells of pressure worth watching.

The Terrapins travel to Indiana on October 2 after Friday’s home match.
