Loyola–Bullis football result under review after conflicting school scores

Correction and update, September 27: Our initial report stated that Loyola Blakefield beat Bullis 25–14 and reached 4–0, based on Loyola’s official varsity results. Bullis’ official calendar lists a conflicting 49–14 score for the same September 26 game without a win/loss designation. We cannot yet reconcile the two school records, so the final score and resulting record remain unconfirmed.

The schools’ schedules identify the game as Bullis at Loyola Blakefield on September 26. Loyola lists Hargaden Field as the venue.

As checked on September 27, Loyola’s varsity page records a 25–14 win, while Bullis’ calendar displays 49–14. Neither page provides enough scoring detail to resolve the discrepancy. We will update this report when the final can be established.
