JMU men take three-match unbeaten stretch to South Carolina

James Madison visits South Carolina in Columbia on Sunday, September 27, at 7 p.m. Eastern on ESPN+. The Dukes are 3–4–1 overall and 1–0 in Sun Belt play.

JMU drew 2–2 with Liberty on September 22 after consecutive shutout wins over Longwood and UCF. The Dukes have gone three completed matches without a loss, but all three were at Sentara Park.

Sunday tests whether that form can travel. JMU lost its first three away matches of the season, at Radford, Princeton and NJIT, so improving its road results is a specific target rather than an assumption based on the recent home run.

Defensive consistency is the second question after Liberty scored twice following JMU’s two clean sheets. The Dukes return home for Coastal Carolina on October 2.
