Howard men return home for Central Connecticut conference matchup

Howard hosts Central Connecticut State at Greene Stadium on Sunday, September 27, at 1 p.m. Eastern. The Northeast Conference men’s soccer match is listed for NEC Front Row coverage.

The Bison return to Washington after a 3–1 loss at Duke on September 22. Their previous home match ended in a 2–1 win over VMI three days earlier, providing the more encouraging recent result to build on.

Howard scored in both games, but the outcomes underline the importance of the defensive side of Sunday’s matchup. Keeping Central Connecticut from creating a multiple-goal cushion would give the Bison a better chance to turn their own scoring into points.
