GW brings a Howard sweep into its Saint Louis conference opener

George Washington opens Atlantic 10 volleyball play against Saint Louis at the Charles E. Smith Center on Friday, September 25, at 6 p.m. Eastern. The teams meet again Saturday at 1 p.m.

GW closed its nonconference schedule with a 3–0 win over Howard on September 19. That followed a straight-set loss at Georgetown the previous evening and a four-set loss at Virginia earlier in the week.

The two home matches offer an early measure of whether the Revolutionaries can build on the Howard result against a conference opponent. The first match’s serving and attacking patterns will also give both teams something specific to revisit in Saturday’s rematch.

After the Saint Louis series, GW travels to VCU for matches October 2 and 3.
