Georgetown takes three-match winning streak to Akron

Georgetown men’s soccer visits Akron on Friday, September 25, at 7 p.m. Eastern, carrying three consecutive victories into the road match.

The Hoyas beat High Point 5–1, Marquette 3–0 and Evansville 3–2 in their most recent games. Monday’s Evansville result was their third straight home victory after a 3–2 loss at Maryland on September 7.

The shift back to the road is the immediate test. Georgetown has scored three or more goals in each game of the current winning streak, while the two goals allowed against Evansville make defensive control another point to follow at Akron.

After Friday, the Hoyas are scheduled to host Providence on October 2 at 7 p.m.
