George Mason opens Atlantic 10 play with Rhode Island series

George Mason hosts Rhode Island at the Recreation Athletic Complex in Fairfax on Friday, September 25, at 5 p.m. Eastern and Saturday, September 26, at noon. The series opens the Patriots’ Atlantic 10 schedule.

Mason’s weekly athletics guide lists the Patriots at 8–4 and Rhode Island at 5–7. It also records a 3–1 Rhode Island victory in the teams’ last meeting, on November 2, 2025.

The back-to-back format makes the response between matches a useful point to watch: Friday establishes the initial matchup, while Saturday offers an immediate chance to adjust. Both matches count separately in the conference schedule.

Both are listed for ESPN+. Mason follows the home series with an October 2–3 trip to Davidson.
