Eastern visits Ballou as Thursday football starts the DMV weekend

Eastern travels to Ballou for a DCIAA football game on Thursday, September 24, with a 6 p.m. Eastern start listed on Eastern’s school calendar. The Thursday date puts the matchup ahead of the larger Friday and Saturday high-school slate.

Ballou’s most recent result listed by MaxPreps is a 38–0 loss to Anacostia on September 18. Producing a scoring response is therefore one immediate question for the Knights against Eastern.

For Eastern, watch whether the visitors can turn early possessions into points and keep Ballou from establishing a response. Eastern’s opening drives will offer the first indication of how the matchup is developing.

The school calendar is the primary source for the date and start time. Fans should recheck it before traveling in case the school posts a change.
