American volleyball hosts Lafayette in second match of home weekend

American hosts Lafayette at the Meltzer Center on Saturday, September 26, at 4 p.m. Eastern. The Eagles first welcome Lehigh on Friday at 6 p.m., making Saturday the second match of a home Patriot League weekend.

American enters the weekend at 7–4 overall and 2–0 in conference play, with three consecutive victories. The Eagles opened their league schedule by beating Holy Cross 3–2 on September 18 and Army 3–0 the following day.

Those results show two different routes to a win: surviving five sets and completing a sweep. The Lehigh match will set the immediate context for Lafayette's visit, with American trying to build on its unbeaten conference start across both home dates.
