American men take point from league opener into Army trip

American visits Army in West Point on Saturday, September 26, at 6 p.m. Eastern. The Eagles continue Patriot League play after drawing 1–1 with Loyola Maryland at Reeves Field on September 19.

The opening result leaves American looking for its first conference victory. Saturday’s challenge is turning a competitive home performance into points on the road, where preventing Army from taking control will be as important as finding a goal.
