Along the Army Ten-Miler route
O. Jones captures the 42nd Army Ten-Miler near mile 1 and mile 9.5.
The 42nd annual Army Ten-Miler took place Sunday, October 11, 2026, starting and finishing at the Pentagon. O. Jones captured participants along the 10-mile course through Washington, D.C.
Near mile 1, a participant in a racing wheelchair pushes along the wet roadway with a stone bridge behind them. Two runners pass beneath the bridge in another frame.
Near mile 9.5, a runner raises both arms while crossing standing water, sending splashes into the air with half a mile remaining.
The race is conducted by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington. Its proceeds benefit Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs.
